Illustration Challenge of the decade. Toronto fashion designer, Nada Shephard commissioned series of 4 illustrations to launch her fall collection. The goal: to feature real garment designs in a Club 54-meets-Madrid cocaine bath with made up figures based loosely on a handful of the team’s favorite real life models (extra points if you can find Warhol). The challenge: to create images that would work well scaled from magazine sized all the way up to billboard size. The images were created very high resolution and as such each face and accessory is fully rendered and stand alone as well as a part of the whole. The collection was inspired by Bianca Jagger. When jamming out the compositions the stylist (and the entire team) would direct me, “If she can breath than it’s not tight enough”.
